WINTER STORAGE AGREEMENT

 

CHESWICK MARINA, Lessor and _________________(Your Name), Lessee agree on ________ (date) as follows;

 

In consideration thereof, Lessee agrees to pay CHESWICK MARINA, a storage fee determined by Rates hereinafter.  Spaces are reserved on a “first come, first serve” basis.

 

It is understood that CHESWICK MARINA is renting to Lessee storage space only. No services are included. CHESWICK MARINA shall not be responsible for any theft, loss or damage of whatsoever nature or source, to lessee’s boat or its contents.

 

Lessee agrees that he or she is storing his or her boat and or trailer at his or her own risk. Furthermore, Lessee agrees that CHESWICK MARINA is not liable for any property damage or any injuries to persons arising out of the negligence of the Lessee.

 

This agreement may not be assigned to any person by Lessee. 

 

It is understood that CHESWICK MARINA will not provide snow removal and Lessee’s access may be restricted.  Furthermore, if Lessee is using storage inside building, the building will locked and access will be by appointment only.

 

  The Lessee is responsible for the cleanliness for the immediate area of his boat.  All rubbish must be taken to trash receptacles. 

 

  A Lessee may work on his or her own boat if such work does not interfere with the rights, privileges and safety of other persons or property.  The Lessor shall reserve the right to require any outside mechanic, craftsman or any other persons performing any work on Lessee’s boat while in or on the premises’ of Lessor.  Lessee shall provide Lessor with a standard-certificate-of workman’s compensation and liability insurance coverage in order to protect the health, safety, welfare and property of other Lessees. Failure to meet these requirements would require that Lessee’s boat be removed from the premises of Lessor for repairs.

 

This Agreement shall be for the term of one winter season beginning October 19, 2008 and ending May 1, 2009.  Boats and or trailers left after May 1st will be subject to additional charges, unless prior arrangements are made.

 

  If these rules are not followed, CHESWICK MARINA has the right to cancel this storage agreement immediately. No refund will be made for unexpired storage time.
